Vyfemla contains forms of progestin and estrogen. These hormones work by inhibiting ovulation (the release of eggs from the ovaries) and thickening cervical mucus. This makes it harder for sperm to reach an egg. They also thin the lining of the uterus so an egg can’t implant as easily.
