What you should know about Glycopyrronium cloth

This form of Glycopyrronium is used to treat excessive sweating from the underarms. The drug solution is infused into a damp cloth that can be applied to the skin. Glycopyrronium blocks ACh neurotransmitters from communicating with the central and peripheral nervous systems, thereby reducing sweat glands activity. Glycopyrronium belongs to a class of drugs known as anticholinergics, a neurotransmitter inhibitor.

  • Do not cover the treated area(s) with a plastic dressing or bandage.
